Visiting Etosha National Park

The best time to visit Etosha is during the end of the dry season -end of October to beginning of November. The animals will come to the watering holes all over, sometimes in massive herds! The wet season -late November to mid April- is much less favorable. I have gone during both times, and recommend going during the heat. It may be dry and hot, but the sights you see will be worth it.
