Ecuador Chocolate ~ And the Winner is...

Small and medium-size producers of Ecuadorian chocolate products have formed an association to strengthen their presence in international markets. About 4,000 producers will benefit from being members of the Asociación de Chocolateros del Ecuador because it will help lower the cost of exporting their products. Ecuadorian chocolate will be represented at the Oscars in a form of statuettes made by chef Wolfgang Puck. Cacao and chocolate products were Ecuador's fifth largest non-oil export in 2012, accounting for nearly half a billion dollars.
