To schedule your trip to Ecuador it is a good idea to know when you will be expected and when the season is low -- for bargains sure but also to know if what you are coming to see will be open and available. The months you can expect to see the most tourists coming to Ecuador are January, June, July and December. But it varies depending on the city and the nationality of the tourists. In Quito, the largest groups are from the US, Colombia, Peru, Germany and the UK. In Cuenca, the greatest influx of foreign tourists is in July, August and November. That''s according to the Hotel Association of Azuay. Baños is one of the main destinations for adventure sports and the starting point for trips to the jungle.
