I've built this home to be my perfect retirement nest. My pending trip to Africa allows you to share it too! Available from April to November, those living on the coast will find this to be a perfect climate to escape. Anyone wanting a true Mexican experience will find cattle and horses at every turn, authentic and delicious cooking in Mascota and the restaurants on the lake just 1 km. below the house. The location is perfect, far enough from nearest neighbors (500 mts.) yet just a short drive to town.

This is the third house I've built and I've learned along the way. High ceilings (18 ft), oversized sliding glass doors and 3 square mt corner glass in the living room bring the incredible views inside. A 20 x 3 mt terrace allows you to enjoy peaceful spots overlooking the fjord like lake nestled in the mountain forests. My little old neighbor comes daily to milk his cows and make his own cheese before returning to town. Wildlife and birds are abundant and watching the spiraling hawks below the terrace will soothe any soul. Walk out your door to wonderful walking paths and mountain bike trails. Peaceful, only the noise of the coyotes in the distance and the whispering pines perfuming the terrace. While not in the forest, there is a copse of trees next to the house and forested mountains. One large bedroom with bath, two single sofa/beds in the living room with separate full bath. Huge kitchen with oversized counters and lots of light. More than 400 recycled bottles used in the construction of countertops, accent lighting and fixtures. Invariable people's reaction when they walk in is "Wow!" as the incredible views hit you in the face through the large windows and the unique features. Although off grid, there are the usual comforts of a full size fridge, wash machine, and appliances. High speed wi fi is brought in by radio and the Smart TV has Netflix and You Tube. Truly an unusual find for the countryside, privacy, quiet and al the comforts.. Welcome!
