If you really want to save money on accommodation I would highly recommend choosing other than hotel options. You can simply book an apartment on airbnb or use a service called Nightswapping which let you swap a night with the locals. The above two options are very economical because you not only can get a really good price per night but what is more it will let you dine at the place.
