Your Child's Education in Panama

The Panama public education system is dysfunctional at best. It is controlled by the Ministry of Public Education (MEDUSA) which is not know for forward thinking. You will be better off to send you child to a private school (and the fees are cheap by international standards). (Continue Reading)

Education System in Jamaica

The education system in Jamaica is similar to the British system. Most kids attend a primary or prep school up to age 11 or 12 (grade 6) and then go to a high school or a secondary school. There is an entrance exam given at the end of primary school and those who score well can go to the high school of their choice. (Continue Reading)

There are a couple of good international schools in Tashkent. The British School curriculum caters for pre-school to year 6 children, with a British curriculum and Tashkent International School covers primary and secondary ages, on an American basis.
