that is the name of the most beautiful beach in the country. It is on the road from Barahona to Pedernales on the Haitian border. it is so beautiful as there are no houses there. I would not recommend it as a place to live near as is miles from anywhere. What are you looking for?

There are many places which are quiet and where you can live amongst local people, it is just BdA is too far from banks, decent medical facilities are at least 4 hours away. There are beach or mountain areas, you will need to speak Spanish though if you live in a more local area than the traditional expat and tourist areas. The Dominicans are very friendly and accepting of outsiders everywhere.

Come to Luperon northern coast. Small townish hour to Santiago or Puerto Plata. Closely knit significant gringo population

You can't live there, it is a Scientific Reserve, you can live in the town of Pedenarles, but there is nothing there. Eagles Bay will be developed in the future, but not n the near future. It is the best region of the country if you like sun, considering Pedernales (where Eagles Bay is located), only rains an averageof 31 days of rain per year. Samana for example (one of DR most famous tourist regions, rains and average of 210 days a year, and in Bavaro rains at least 150 days a year. That is why Eagles Bay will be developed someday. In conclusion, Pedernales is very hot and dry, ironically, it's wild life is so diverse, that most of the regions there are scientific reserves. In Dominican law, Scientific Reserve Category means, no humans allowed. You can go and look at it, but you can't live there, that is why eagles bay is deserted, and you will not find even a hut, except for army posts. All the eagles of the Caribbean migrate to Eagles Bay to Lay their Eggs, they do not do it anywhere else, this is part of the reason it's untouchable. In another area of Pedernales, like for example, Lake Enriquillo, you will find Dragon Lizards, Crocodiles, and Giant Turtles, and guess what? Lake Enriquillo, and all the nearby areas are also Scientific Reserves. If you are considering assistance for your relocation plan, check us out, our website is: www.immigrationExpertsDR.com, you will find our contact number there. Good Luck

I very much enjoy your responses on the forum. I am reading every question and their response in an effort to get as much nfo as I can before even visiting and considering a move. I wondered how much I would spend including your fee in oreder to become a legal resident. I also know that, at some point, I will certainly need an attorney for real estate tranactions, etc. can you handle some of that as well? Thanks in adveance for yurkind reply.
