Hi everyone, i heard that the Dominican republic has great hair and skin care products, can anyone refer me to a great dermatologist to lighten my skin from acne. And even a great plastic surgeon for a Boom enhancement if anyone knows of a good one. Any referrals and contact info will be appreciated. Thanks so much.

I see no one has replied, I am late but better then nothing
There are some good plastic surgeons in both Santo Domingo and Santiago. However - it is buyer beware.
I would suggest doing some google searches and then do lots and lots of research on any doctor clinic you are thinking about going to!

Hi Martha Someone asked the same question in 2002 but didn't get a satisfactory answer,. May I suggest you start by contacting the companies on the following web site: http://www.dd.com.do/dominican-health/plastic-surgery/

Finding a job in your career will not be easy. First you need your residencia and cedula before most will consider you.
You may want to set yourself up in business. Consider it.

I agree with Planner. You will need your residency / cedula before you can find a job. This process starts in your home country before you come here. Among other things, they require a verifiable income from outside the country of around $1,500 US. It will be best to consult a lawyer before coming here. Feel free to pm me with any questions you may have, Mike
