Tourist card charges

Hi there,

I would like to know if any of you have any idea how much do you pay after coming back to your country only with a tourist card. When I came here (August 2015) I paid 10USD for the tourist card, which was valid for 3 months. Then I did not try to get any Dominican residence, because I heard that on the way back I will simply pay at the airport some fee for prolonging the tourist card validity. But I am not sure if it is going to be 10USD per each month or per every third month or more. I was hoping, that some US citizens will be able to help and advice me with how much they paid. I am leaving this month to my home country Slovakia. I guess different fees apply for my country, but I am pretty sure nobody here is from Slovakia, so any help from a person from any other country will be very much appreciated.

Thank you in advance.

Hi, I think it is a flat rate of $100.00 if you stay longer than 3 months. If you come back to the Dominican Republic drop me a line if you are looking for a rental on the North Coast ok, take care travel safe and God Bless.
