I'm taking my family to Sousa for a month and wondering if there are any tech/marketing groups in the area. Looking at Meetup.com, I didn't see much going on, so I thought I would ask. Are there other networking websites similar to Meetup/Craigslist that are more popular there? I run a marketing agency, and would love to meet some local talent, possibly to hire, contract, or just network.

Try Facebook there are several groups for cabarete and Sosua.
They are not meet up groups but you can ask questions there.

The only groups similar that I know of are in Santo Domingo. Usually not enough need except for social groups in this area.

I, I saw your inquire looking for people whit marketing back ground.
I have a friend coming for a visit the end of June who is the Director of Marketing for a large Woman's Shoe chain in the Ukraine. If you are interested and her visit falls with your time frame of being in Sousa let me know.

I've lived here for seven years and work for Coldwell, Banker and our team has just finished a six week webinar course on marketing. I've not heard of any marketing group in the area but there is a telephone sales company in Sosua, and my colleague is an expert on telephone marketing, who I can put you in touch with when you come over. If you have a spare moment email me and we can discuss possibilities as one of my roles when in London was to coach individuals and teams in developing ideas.

Good Afternoon ,I am just checking back with you on your request for marketing Personal . In an earlier I told you about a friend who is the Director of Marketing for a large Shoe Chain in the Ukraine who would be visiting here from June 24th thru July 9th. She has a degree in Marketing and has around 12 years in the field. Her name is Kristina Viktoria, she is 35 years old . And one of the reasons for her visit is because she is thinking about moving to the Dominican Republic , she is tired of the cold winters and heavy snow in the Ukraine .
