Visiting the DR

I'm visiting the DR next month with the intent on maybe making a permanent move soon. I will be staying at a airbnb location, however I've been seeing post for apartments at $250 to $500 dollars a month, which is a lot better than airbnb cost. Does anyone know locations for rent at these low prices. I receive about $3000 per month pension.

You can check out www.costambar.org . There are plenty of rentals in the $400 to $500 range for year round stays. At present given that it is high season the availabilities are limited. I have lived here over ten years and its just awesome.

Thanks. Hoping to stay long term once I find my way around. Until then I guess I will be hooping between PR and DR every 30 days. My intent is to get a long term visa, however, at this point I don't know anything about the process, but I'm sure I will learn.
