Hi I am based on the North Coast in Sosua where we have one of the largest North American communities who come out day and night. However, you will hardly find any tourists venturing out in Punta Cana as all the all inclusive hotels tell them not to leave the hotel unless on a guided tour. Its wrong because I was there three week ago for a long weekend and I walk everywhere but not necessarily at night. There are a couple of malls that the guides take them to but not at night. If you want me to give my opinion of your business idea I will be happy to do so. I am British and have lived here for 7 years working for a major realtor instead of writing film scripts and books which I came to do when I retired from City of London. Thank you for your reply. We have a business that promotes family history surnames and includes the family coats of arms in full colour . We deal a lot with the American tourist industry and are read to move to DR in the hope of promoting this business within the hotels. We are also looking for a condo to rent long term furnished. Do you think the market within the hotels would work.
