Hi there!
I'm a dual US / Algerian citizen who just moved back to Algiers last December.
I would love to get in touch with other US citizens who also live here who have knowledge of how to pay taxes and if I should register at the embassy. I would also like to take my 10 years old to spend Christmas in the US but I fear the visa refusal.
Besides, I miss anything US related and would be nice to just chat!
I have called the US embassy but they want me to email them my questions and I'm sceptical, I just feel more comfortable speaking to someone from there.
Not sure there is a US citizens community in Algeria, but this is my 1st step.
Hope to read some replies soon.
