Hi there,
Arabic and Algerian Arabic seem to be two very different things.
I am currently trying to learn Arabic so that I can speak it (at least a little) for when I plan to move to Algeria in just over a year. However, I have found that the Arabic which you usually learn in language courses and the Arabic spoken in Algeria are hugely different. I could really do with some help trying to learn the Algerian Arabic so I can actually have a conversation with someone over there :P
Thanks :)

You just have to live here for a long time to learn the language here. It is called Djurja and is a combination of French and Arabic and some of their own words. There are no books, classes or information to learn it on the internet. You might consider learning French. Most people speak it moderately and will think you do too if you are a foreigner.
