hi ;)
This august me and my fiancé are planning to get married in Algeria. I am from the UK and I need to know what documents I need, how long they take to get and how much they cot. Also, I know that you need a CNI and I need to know how much notice is required by Algeria? I called the lady at the registrars office and she said I need to find out the notice required by Algeria before I can apply for it

What's a CNI. Your fiance needs to check at the Wilaya where he is from. He is very complicated and nothing is consistent here. You will need a new copy of your birth certificate. They do a background check which takes time so hopefully your visa won't expire before you get it back. Good luck. You're going to need it!

A CNI is a certificate of no impediment. He has already been to the wilaya and they said I need it :( I will apply for the birth certificate once I have applied for the CNI. You also have to get them legalised and apparently this is quite expensive and can take some time :( I leave for Algeria on the 14th of August so I still have time, but I don't really wanna leave it much longer
