Are there any persons from English speaking countries living in northeastern Argentina, especially the Resistencia - Posadas area? After 10 years in Central America, I'm moving to Argentina. I've discovered that, when moving to a new country, finding people who have "been there and done that" greatly reduces my asperin bill.

Hi there,
Sorry, I cannot answer your question...but I would like to seek the same info from those living in Córdoba, Argentina, where I'll be moving in October. I've already lived in Uruguay, and have traveled around Argentina, but I'd love to hear what an expat who actually lives there has to say.
Thanks in advance, Margaux

Margaux- I spent a week in Cordoba last month but heard of only one expat. He is supposedly a Brit and teaches English at the Cultura Britanica but he was never there when I visited. Though I left my local phone number and e-mail, he never replied. Good luck.

Are you in Panama? Where are you, what are you doing? My husband wants to go there, but I am not sure. I like Argentina better. Is it easier getting residency in Panama?? Thanks!

I don't know the answer to your Argentina question but would like to know your experiences in Uruguay. I am thinking of living there.
