Potentially looking at moving there but really worried about job prospects. I am a senior Windows Engineer and thus used to a reasonably comfortable standard of living so, as well as this, I would need to be sure of job security (so maybe in Government position ?). I speak not bad Argentine-Spanish, and currently undertaking a higher inremediate Spanish course. Would be grateful if someone could give me an idea of prospects. I am mid 40s.
Muchas gracias companeros.

Sorry to disappoint you here but I don't think you can take job security for granted in Argentina. Maybe in a Government job but I don't know how you'll get one as an expat.
It's best to be sent over on contract with a foreign business or else to start your business if you meet the immigration requirements.

I agree with this poster. There are many qualified Argentines who are already bilingual and can legally work in Argentina and are already there.
A good number of expats end up doing freelance work. With the Internet so many things area possible.
I also post things on my blog as I hear about them.
