Hi there--

I'm a recent college graduate currently going through TEFL certification with a friend, and the two of us are looking to move to Argentina for several months sometime in the coming year. Both of us, however, have backgrounds in agricultural work, food production, etc. and would be interested in work in those sectors as well.

Since we're not looking to make the move permanent, I was wondering if anyone had any suggestions about job prospects for English teachers, work visas, ways to get settled, and temporary housing. Any advice, experiences to be shared or links? Anything is truly appreciated.

Hi there,

my name is Franziska Lancaster, i just recently became a member of this website with the hopes of finding some advice.

I came across your blog and so i thought i would contact you, the reason being that i am at a similar stage as when you send your blog. i am currently undergoing a TEFL certficate in Ireland and want to move to Buenos Aires around Decemeber. Did you get out to Argentina or are you still looking for jobs? I've written to a lot of privates schools but with not much luck...would you have any advice you could give me to get a head's start?

Hope to hear from you! Best, Franziska
