Summer Activities for Children in Argentina

With summer break fast approaching, moms and dads often begin to worry, "What will I do with the kids all summer?" How do kids in your part of Argentina spend the summer? What activities, camps, excursions would you recommend to other parents? Please post your suggestions and contact information for specific camps/activities. This information will be extremely helpful for other parents - especially those parents who are just moving to Argentina this summer.

Having lived in Argentina three years my first reaction to the question is which "Summer" are you referring to?

Argentina's summer is December-Januaty-February.
Conversely people ski in August in Argentina.

Because Argentina's summer is in December the Christmas and New Year;'s holidays occur.

It depends on the kid´s age. However in Argentina, vacational camps just for kids are not popular at all. Families go on holidays together.
