Anybody know if the volcano has stopped erupting? Is the airport still closed?

We were in Bariloche about a month ago. Bariloche itself has not been so badly affected by the ashes but places like Villa La Angostura (where we stayed) looked pretty bad.
Some days visibility where poor and the mountains winds blew the ashes everywhere.
Despite of that we stayed a week and it was quite an experience. It is not often that you see volcanic ashes.
As far as I know the volcano has not erupted again. I did a search on Expedia and it looks like Aerolineas Argentinas is flying to Bariloche.

Sorry me again. There are no direct flights to Bariloche. They fly to Nuequen and from there people get transferred by bus to Bariloche.

Artyfitz,
The Chilean volcano stopped months ago but the Bariloche Airport is still shut down and will be until March.
Be careful when booking a flight, my wife and I did months ago to use in February and even though Aerolinas publicly stated that the Bariloche airport is incapable of receiving flights until Match, Aerolinas won't refund our money. It suggested we fly from mendoza to Buenos Aires and then take a 9 hour bus trip to Bariloche. Our stay is for two days and if we accepted its suggestion we would spend between planes and buses 12 hours a day. Factoring in 8 hours sleep each day that would give us 4 hours to visit each day in Bariloche???
