Today, I received my bi monthly electric bill. My last bill was $46.06 and the current bill is for $219.84 (pesos) . That's almost a 500% increase. It's wonderful that inflation in BA is so LOW.

BA Utilities,

If that is actually the case, your Utilities bill going from AR 46 Pesos to AR 219 Pesos monthly that is unfortunate.

Put in US Dollar terms that means that your utility bill used to be about US$10.57 a month and now it's aboutUS$50.34.

Maybe the real culprit were the subsidies that Christina recently took away for utility users who have had a long ride of under paying.

BA Utilities,

Sorry, my mistake, you said your utility bill is bi-monthly thus you were paying about US$5.20 monthly and now you are paying a little over US$25.00 monthly.

I think that what bothers me the most is that I would bet that most of the residents of Palermo Chico will get subsities.

BA Utilities,

That is not what I have read, it appears the subsidies end for everyone including the well off to the rich.

If you learn differently please let us know.

I received this letter with the heading "Usted considera que necesita ser subsidiado?' It goes on and on. Was I the only person who got this letter? Maybe, they think that' part of the 1%? Wrong !!
