Congratulations. If you use a real estate agent or 3rd party rep he/she will typically want 3% sale's commission on the final sale's price.

The Argentine Government has a transfer tax of about 2% - 3% of the sales price.

An Escribano will charge from 2% - 3% of the sale price, however, if you are buying from a developer you may get the developer to pay the Escribano's fees.

Make sure you have the Title searched and don't give a large deposit because even if the Seller's breaches you may play hell trying to get a deposit back.

Water is important so unless it is a city lot with city water make sure your future water source is guaranteed. I have seen many Argentine Seller's delinquent 5 years or more in water bills.

If you have any kind of fruit trees or vineyards get an Agronomist's Report.
