Does anyone have a contact for real Mexican Corn Tortillas. The only tortillas I have been able to find in the San Rafael area are flour, and those are made with margarine. I have a source in Buenos Aires, but that is too far, and they cannot ship. I would prefer a source in San Rafael, or even Mendoza. Thanks

When you find a source let me know. I have been in Mendoza and San Rafael for 5-years and never seen the corn version.

Mexican food is just not real without corn torillas!! Oh well. If you are ever in BsAs have dinner at Maria Felix in Palermo, and you can buy corn tortillas there. Ask for Raul, who I have corresponded with, and who told me they had no way to ship to San Rafael, unfortunately. Maybe someone who is going to BsAs could bring us all in San Rafael a supply of corn tortillas???

There were a couple of "Mexican" restaurants in Mendoza that offered tacos with flour type tortillas and can you believe it wanted almost US$10.00 for just two.
Maybe you need to start a shuttle run from BA to SR once or twice a week.

I know Tom, been to one--such a disappointment!! I wonder if there is someone who goes to BsAs as a regular routine, who would be interested in supplying all the sad people in San Rafael who long for corn toritillas???
