My wife and I own a 108-acre vineyard project in San Rafael. We lived full time in Argentina, Mendoza City and San Rafael, for five years.
One thing always struck us as sad. People would pay good money to take a Bodega Tour that was anemic at best. The tour had no imagination and little substance.
If you want to see unique Bodegas large and small, visit vineyards large and small, taste wine from the barrel, enjoy an asado at a Bodega built in 1919 and dine at an Estancia built in 1830 then let me know.
I am forming two Tours this coming March and April of 2016 which is grape harvest time.

Thank you for your inquiry.
There will be two 7-Day Tours with the seven days including your arrival and departure.
One Tour will be in mid March when white grapes are harvested and one Tour in mid April when red grapes are harvested. For the last five years we have sold our Chardonnay grapes to the Mumms Bodgea in San Rafael to make champagne

Eposternak,
Thank you for your email and I will keep you posted. I need about ten individuals to make the tour work so if you know anyone else please let me know. Because you live in BA you travel expenses are minimal but unfortunately for others such is not the case.
The Tour will be in late March or early April when the vineyards are ready for harvest.
