Hello,

This is a pretty important question. :)

I have been trying to discover about how much a bouquet of flowers would cost in Argentina. Does anyone know approximately what a dozen roses would cost?

I am not currently in the country and have not been able to find the information online.

This site, http://www.homeflowers.com.ar/ is offering a base price of AR$450 for a dozen roses in Capital Federal. Try searching google.com.ar for flores entrega or envio de flores a domicilio for the locality in which you are interested.

You might stumble upon difficulties if you try to use a non-Argentine card to pay on-line but if you don't have one, try a service you can ring up and see if they will accept payment over the phone or will agree to WU or Moneygram.

My way around this when I've been out of the country has been to leave a stash of money with a mutual friend and ask them to organise the flower/chocs/whatever locally. Don't forget to treat the friend to something nice from time to time!

I have used www.baflowers.com with reasonable satisfaction. They accept USA issued credit cards.
