My name is Mike & I am a Ceramic Tiler. My wife Jackie and I are in our mid 30s with 2 kids aged 10 & 8. We have applied for a visa and are hopeing to move to the Sunshine Coast. We would like to hear from anyone who is making a similar move, or anyone who is already over there.
It would be nice to hear from anyone who is in the same sort of business. Or the buiding trade.

Hi,

We too like this area, more Mooloolaba or Maroochdyre, we don't really know of anyoen on the Sunshine Coast, I have contacted most builing firms who say give us a nod when we get out there, there is loads of work for hubby around there and I suppose for you if new houses have these in.

The medicals went well they will be sent off on Wednesday then the big wait for the yes or No.

I am English but live in Perthshire Scotland where my hubby is from.

Hi Jackie,

Have sent off the visa application form now, glad that is sorted, have been told processing time is 50 weeks. How are things going for you, have you had any news from the TRA yet?

Hi Sue
We have been told that we will get our TRA
back this week, So fingers crossed...........
But they have said it could still take up to a year
after that. I'm hopeing that they just add a couple
of months on to cover them selves. I've been
E-mailing someone who has got their visa and is ready to go, and theirs took 11 months.. So all
we can do is wait and hope...
Jackie
