Howdy,
I'm new to the group. My name is Jeremiah, I'm 19, and I currently live in Fort Worth, Texas. I have been planning a 6-7 month stay in Oz for some time now. Hopefully I will be able to leave in 4-5 months. My question is, for someone as young as me, how easy would it be to move to Australia for good? Seeing as how I have no college education and my current job is waiting tables. Does anyone have any advice or has anyone been in the same boat? I'd appreciate any feedback. Thanks
Jeremiah

Hi, I would say not easy for you to move to Australia - sorry to burst your bubble. Anyway, how do you know you want to live there if you haven't been there before? My recommendation is to visit as you plan, and then go home and get a degree in medicine (or engineering, teaching, etc), then try and apply for residence. Cheers

Hi there, what you might want to do is to study at one of the universities in Australia. Having an Australian qualification can help if you really want to stay and work in Australia permanently. Check also the Australian immigration website : www.immi.gov.au where you can find information relating to studying, working in Australia, and migrating to Australia. But the best would be to try and live here (OZ) for a couple of months, see if you really like it, then you can decide what to do.
Good luck.

Hey,
I would really suggest you see an Immigration Agent and review your options. A lot of my American customers spent a lot of time and money taking others advice, then got into trouble. See a GOOD professional and get your options.
