Hello everyone,

I am an Australian (dual citizenship) and have an opportunity to get a job on a project with a German company in a third country (Macedonia). I have a citizenship and would be residing for couple of years in MAcedonia.

Being completely new to the expat world I am puzzled as to where would I be employed and which country will I pay tax to. Does the company need to have a local branch office set up in the country where the project is or would I be employed in the country the Company's head office is located (i.e Germany).

Does anyone have infrmation how are these things normally done?

Thanks for your help.
Cheers,
Aleks
