Hi yall! I'm an American whose wanting to move to Australia, probably at the end of this year. I'm doing a bit of studying up on where I want to move exactly, but I'm having trouble deciding. I think It's either going to be Sydney or Melbourne. I really like Melbourne for the culteral aspect of the city, but I like Sydney due to it's proximity to the beach. I'd love some insider opinions, what cities do yall like better? Thanks a lot yall!

Hi Aaron,

I'm an American who moved to Australia almost 4 years ago.

The first thing you should know is that there's something of a rivalry between Sydney and Melbourne, so the question of which place is better depends on who you ask! :) I would suggest visiting the two cities first, if at all possible, before you make your final decision. You may also want to ask the folks over at Yanks Down Under:
