Is a 4x4 car has the same charges as a normal car?

Hi, we would like to take our Land Rover with us to Australia. Could you please advice us about the charges about 4x4 cars?

hi there,
not sure if this is too late for you.
I was going to yake my land rover to Aus when i arrived here a couple of months ago but it was just too expensive and too much hazzle. My personell effects left 6 october and to this date I do not have them!!! Quarantine etc very very strict. By the time u have sent car paid all duties you can buy here as some good bargains at present. Most removal companies -ie pickfords have a document regarding car export and its a big and complicated one !!!
