we are PR's of Australia, looking to move there to seek a better life and to bring up our 4 children aged 13,11,9,3. We have narrowed down our destinations to either Brisbane/Gold Coast or Melbourne.

A few questions (and please feel free to answer just one or two if you can't answer all of them :)

1) Which would be a better city for bringing up children? in terms of weather, in terms of doing stuff with them of weekends, in terms of education quality, in terms of ease of dad and mum getting jobs?
2) Do you know of any specific schools (in Brissy or Melb) that have a SEP (Special Education Programme) to assist children with learning difficulties? Any specific schools that you would like to mention and where are these schools?
3) what items should we sell off (furniture, electrical items, etc) and what should we ship over?
4) Does anyone know of a website or web community specifically for malaysians moving to OZ?

That's it, (i think), and if you don't have answers to the above but would like to share your twopence worth, would be glad to hear it
