I was born in the UK, am now a US citizen living in Costa Rica.
My mother, brother and sister are all citizens of OZ. I was wondering what the difficulties would be for me, a 60 year old single woman, to immigrate to Australia. I had heard that they are no longer allowing pensioners in, is this correct? Where would I even start?

www.immi.gov.au

They allow pensioners in but you have to be self funded, have your own private medical insurance so that you are not a burden on the govt.

You may be able to get family to sponsor you.
Either way check the website for up to date information.

We moved here last January and so far so good my only concern is I don't do anything, was planning to work as well to earn more money for the family
