" That''s a really tough question to answer. You''re comparing a small village ringed by high mountains with an old European capital. It really depends on what you would like to see/do. The natural beauty in Innsbruck is amazing. The town is quaint, but my friend and I got some strange vibes from some of the locals. On the other hand, I love Vienna. 2 months after I visited Innsbruck I made my way here, and, except for a few short trips, I haven''t left since. I almost bypassed Vienna, remembering my so-so experience in Innsbruck. I''m so glad I didn''t. Spring here is turning out to be so pleasant. If you like the outdoors, there are beautiful parks spread about the city. A friend of mine visited me here earlier this week, and we did a lot of walking. He remarked over and over that, ""this place is like a fairy tale."" There are several places in Vienna that always leave me breathless when I visit them. Places where one steps out of nondescript, perhaps uninteresting surroundings into sudden, breathtaking beauty. I started to give instructions for experiencing these places, but I realized that instructions would somehow detract from the experience. You''ll have to find them for yourself... "
