German Language Courses

I already did a search and was surprised to be unable to find any discussion on this topic. I am interested in taking German language classes. I consider myself to be a beginner. I am considering anything from barely three weeks to several months. (Yes, I know about visa restrictions---I'll deal with that.) I would prefer to be in Tirol or the Arlberg but would consider Vienna for classes, in hopes of later living in Tirol. Can anyone give me some recommendations? Thank you.

Try "Volkshochschule", they are all over Europe and teach German for beginners who have to pass a german test in order to get a residence permit in Austria. Goes for 2 semester per year, 4 month each, one day a week for 150Euro/semester.My husband is a beginner and is doing well and does his home work each week.

Thank you. I have a friend who currently is in Norway through their local Volkschule. Will look into it.
