Hello, maybe some of you have gone through this, so I woul like to ask about it,
I have seen the requirements for non-EU nationals to apply for a temporary residence permit, however something seems almost impossible: how can I get an apartment owner to give me a contract to lease the flat to me when I cannot say if or when my permit will even go through while I wait it out in my country? How has anyone got through this? Many thanks to any who reply!

I rented, and noone asked me anything. If you're willing to give three months rent upfront and possibly pay a commission to a real estate agent for showing the apartment, then I doubt they really care, they have your money.

I had no questions asked of me. I think if you are willing to give three months rent, plus a commission for finders fee, noone really cares, they have your money.
