How hard to find a job?

I am seriously considering relocating to Austria, and I have examined the regulations regarding pensioners (I am a retired civil servant, 50 years old). My pension just meets the income criteria, and I would prefer to find a job to pay for health insurance and give us some extra cash for breathing room. My question to all is just how hard is it for a foreigner to find a job?

As a UK citizen you have no issues with visas etc. the main question will be how good is your German? If you've got tourist quality German then in the Touist areas as a native Engligh speaker you might get something seasonal. If you have little or very basic German I've known other expats (other nationalities but who have fluent Englsh) struggle to get jobs.
