I am going to Azerbiajan on a freelance assignment for the summer and am trying to decide whether to rent a car and drive from place to place or take the train? Does anyone know anything about train travel in Azerbaijan? Is it safe? Same about car travel? Thanks for your help! John in Seattle

" Hi John, In response to your question regarding car versus train in Azerbaijan I would recomment to you to rent a four wheel drive vehicle. I''ve not met any one here that has taken the train, but many people have travelled around by vehicles. Learn a little bit of Russian/Azeri because the police are a constant problem in this country. They hassle ex-pats and locals alike. Be careful and have fun here, it is really a beautiful country and the people are polite, but at times a tad quiet. Enjoy!!! "

Hi Theresa, I have a question I am contacting you from a TV show in the USA. Trying to find interesting stories about people who are currently living abroad both permanently and temporarily. They also should be doing something signifigantly different from what they did in their country of origin. Some examples are a Lawyer turned artist etc... We are shooting a story in Turkey and one other one possibly in Azerbaýjan or Turkmenýstan. I would like to find more stories in this region. Might I ask why you are living in this area, perhaps your story would fit. Please e-mail me at nneurath@wellergrossman.com

Hi Theresa, I have a question if you can help. My husband has got an offer from a company in Baku and has already moved to Baku. I and my daughter are planning to join him shortly. I wanted to know about the job opportunities available for females there. I am a commerce graduate and currently working in the UAE as a secretary. Kindly advice if possible. Thank you
