Jobs in the Out islands (Captian / Construction)

My wife and I are considering relocating to the Bahamas (preferably the out islands). I have done google searches and searched some of the links on here but most jobs are in the larger areas.

I am a Licensed 100ton Master Captain, I also have extensive skills in Construction and IT (Computers). I would like something like a shuttle boat Captain or along those lines. We are not looking to get rich, just time for us to enjoy our lives.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. We would also be looking for a place to rent as well (more local, smaller) not a condo/apartment.

The island of Abaco has a big boating community, I wish I had more info for you than that sorry!

Good morning: I have lived and worked in the Bahamas,on Andros Is. You should try getting a job at AUTEC. You have something that they can use.The good thing about AUTEC is they will cover you'r work permit.They also will provide food and housing. The diving and fishing are great. It is the largest Is in the Bahamas,and is far enough off the beaten path and no crowds.AUTEC has it's main office in W Palm Bch Fl They also have flights to the Is almost every day. Give then a try.
