We are looking to make a move to Bahamas. We want to live there for a time and see if it is the right long term fit for us.

If there is anyone on here who is looking to take a break from their current business in Bahamas so that they may travel etc we would be interested in chatting.

4 adults, 2 kids
Adults have 4 separate professions: Franchise business experience (many successful business start ups), Marine engineer, Carpenter, and Sales.

We are ready to make the move in January.

Hi Lori,

Remember that you require a work permit to work here, and that you would need "specialized" skills that a Bahamian would not specifically be able (or willing) to fill in order to qualify for the Labour Certificate stating that a foreigner can be hired.
