I have a trip planned to Nassau next month. As I haven't been to the Bahamas in a while, are US Dollars
still accepted as currency ? Or do I need to do a money exchange ? any help will be appreciated.

Its even money - dollar for dollar and they accept the US Dollar equally. No need to exchange unless you want to.
