I have a trip booked to stay at Atlantis in The Reef Tower soon. Most dining at Atlantis is pretty good(we've stayed there before) but my friend, she really loves a good filet. So, where in Nassau could I book a reservation to get a great filet ? Any help will be greatly appreciated. We'll have great seafood, of course...but a filet, yum.

Try Blue Sail I had a good fillet there. But rib is a tastier cut albeit not as tender. enjoy!

The Bahamian Club at Atlantis has a Filet (Well, Beef Tenderloin) and a recent report was that the food there was fantastic.
Some say that Graycliff is amazing, but I find that it is not necessarily so.
Cafe Matisse is downtown, and truly fabulous. Would be my recommendation above all else. See menu - http://cafe-matisse.com/index.php/menu/ - will likely satisfy all desires. :-)
Blue Sail is a VERY long ways from Atlantis, and of a totally different class than Matisse and Bahamian Club. Also rather slow in service, and a bit salty. Although, they have a beautiful view of Atlantis in the distance! Not sure if you can see much at night though. You may want to ask the cabbie to stop at Blue Sail on your way in to see whether you can check out the menu.
Have fun!

Matisse is fab so let me add my support. , didnt know they did filet.
Blue sail if far, but prices are more reasonable, and really, where is far in NP after all? the furtherst will only ever be 20 miles away right? Also dont have the pizza there, just dont. BTW I thought tenderloin is fillet, is there a difference?

Hi Rahmank,
Yes, Matisse has pizza too! And, yes, filet is tenderloin - just not everyone realizes that. :-) And, while everything is within 20 miles, we used to drive up to 60 miles for dinner in North America, but here, it's a big deal to drive from west to east! We always joke about needing a passport to go from one to the other! While it may only be 20 miles, sometimes it can take an hour or more to traverse that distance! And, at night, with other things going on in between - not a pleasant trip - especially if there is rain or an event!
:-)

BTW, you are right that prices at Blue Sail are a bit less than Matisse, but the atmosphere at Matisse.....beyond compare. Of course, Matisse's menu is also much more diverse, and IMHO much more consistent and less salty.
