I was born in Bangladesh, but grew up in California, US. I am going back to finish my Med degree in Dhaka (since it is too expensive and difficult with a toddler here). I need help figuring out a lot of things for this move. Like where can I buy food without contamination and impurities for a toddler, which pediatricians are good. Which medical school is located in a nice residential area (preferably close to the American Club). Also which medical schools and elementary schools have an English curriculum that can be transferred to foreign countries? Being a woman, I have a lot of safety concerns: I was told I would not be able to travel alone, drive my car. Would a burka be my best bet? Since I will not be accompanied by my husband, it is scary to have a child without. paternal presence. Where can I find a nanny and or cook that I can trust? All the basics I need help with neither me nor my parents have been back to Bangladesh in 20 plus years and we have almost no information or family and need a lot of help with this move.Thank you.

hi, i've seen your post. i can't help you out with advice on everything. however, i can tell you that you won't find any medical school that instructs in english in class. so, i'd suggest you try somewhere else. like india, or sri lanka. that's all.

I can understand Bangoli I just cannot write or read it., I am ok as long as the text books and testing is done in English. Are there any schools like that?

You can buy food from Gulshan DCC market, All foreigner used to buy food from DCC market,
