" I am expecting to move to Brussels from early June on a contract basis (therefore getting little information from an employer). I have been looking for information about short term furnished rentals. The places I have contacted so far (apart from one) are either very expensive or just don''t bother to reply. I will need somewhere with easy access to Evere. Anybody got any ideas?. Also, can anyone explain the rules for regsitering with the Belgian authorities?. Any other advice gratefully received. "

This included all the charges plus a cleaning lady. This is about standard for furnished rentals in the area. We find Evere to be a very pleasant place; it has very easy access to grocery shopping and the public transportation is very good -- we have been here almost 3 months, and have felt no need to buy a car.
