We are planning to relocate to Belize in 2017. Any ideas on how soon we can bring in the goods we would like to relocate with

There are aggregators on both coasts that will handle full or less than containers. Hyde is in Florida https://www.hydeshipping.com/3/default.asp?p=home and Reynolds is in Los Angeles. http://reynoldsshipping.com/

They use a haulage company to collect and they take too Miami and then down to Belize city, from there its upto you , you also need a broker in Belize city and you need to fully itemise the cargo. I cant remember who we used as our broker, but think Hyde recommended a couple.

Many thanks. Do we have to be in Belize for the required 6 - 12 months before we can bring our stuff in.

If you want the duty free QRP allowance you have to be fully registered into the programme. You have 12 months to then ship your stuff Duty free. If not in or doing QRP you can ship stuff any time but the duty will be charged.

Is it possible to give us a general idea of the cost of shipping and what the duty is? Wondering if it's worth it to ship?
