I have my list of perscription medication and want to know if your need to shop around at different places/stores etc or is the price of medication the same at all the pharmacy? In the US if you shop around you can find the same medications that can be $50.00 to $75.00 cheaper for a 90 day supply at different pharmacy.

Medications are generally very inexpensive - less than US$10 for a course of antibiotics for example. Depends on the medicines. There are no Drugmart type places, all pharmacist drugs are sold in small independently run pharmacys.

You might have to go to several pharmacies to get what you need, but it's not worth price comparison - it's all about the same (and sometimes up to 70-80% LOWER than what you pay in the US, so even if you don't get the BEST price, shopping around is only going to save a few dollars at most). Some pharmacies can order something if they don;t have what you need, but that can take a few days, a week or two

What about getting expensive specialty medicines. I have to take an expensive medication for arthritis. Are these available?

We are looking in Corozal to relocate. You can pick whatever area you want to search. I searched for "corozal belize pharmacies" and came up with the following list. Do the same and make some phone calls:
