Just starting to consider move to Corozal - Questions

I've been to Belize. Well, 28 year ago in Ambergris Caye and stayed at Ramon's Reef Resort. Anyway, Corozal looks very attractive but I have a few initial questions. Is there an animal shelter or Humane Society? My wife and I are both volunteers at our local shelter and that's an important part of our lives. What kind of car repair service is available? Are there certain makes that are no problem? I've been a volunteer firefighter for 27 years and if there is some way to put that experience to good use, that would be fine. BTW, in considering a move like this, what are the questions that I should be asking? Thanks much!

Hi.. I kind of doubt there is a Humane Society in Corozal. Those sea dogs that roam around have always interested me. I'll find out for sure for you...

There is a group in Corozal. I forget the name of it. The owner of Serenity Sands in Corozal can tell you all about it. The group meets at her bed and breakfast and she is a member.

There is a group that help with animals in Corozal Town and another near Cerros.

Chevy parts seem to be the toughest to get easily. Toyota and the like are easier.

We would welcome your firefighting abilities at Cerros Sands.

Thanks much! I seem to recall reading a previous post by you saying that you have a Pit mix.
