I'm visiting Belize for a few weeks and want to do some work while I'm there. I have a Claro USB internet stick. Will it work in Belize? How easy is it to use this service there and to reload it? I'm curious if the internet is fast enough to do things like Skype and video chat (options I must have for my work).
I recall reading that Belize didn't have good internet, would love to hear from those that use it regularly for work.
Thank you in advance (:

WHERE in Belize are you going?
You will most likely have luck in San Pedro (Ambergris Caye), Placencia and San Ignacio. Except for a high end resort here and there the rest of the country will most likely not have high speed enough for video streaming (you can facetime, "marginally" most often with audio only. If you MUST be connected for business "on call" you will need to stick to the three areas above and test other places as go you.
