White sandy beaches?

Hello All,

We are coming to Belize in May to explore the possibility of moving there in a couple of years. Can someone please let us know if there are any white sandy beaches, (natural - not man made), that are on the coastline of Belize? In the research we've done so far, it appears that the only area to find a real sandy beach where one can walk into the water is on the Cayes.

Caye Cualker, Hopkins and Placencia - each very different and their own entities with various pros and cons to each place. Move around, explore Belize and you will get so much more than just sitting on a white sandy beach (and see many of those along the way as well). We have AWESOME white sandy beaches in North Carolina where I'm from BTW if you just want to chill out and have beach time, I would recommend those over any beach in BZ.
