" Hi there. I just got here 2 months ago from NYC. The tax will vary. 28% - 33% import duty depending on the item. I do not believe that you should have major complications with your clothes, but more so with electronics(ie, TV, Stereo, etc) and furniture. Once you are here you can alway get great prices at the ""leaving island"" sale. There are about 5-9 of thses per weekend. The local paper also works like an Ebay type, with everything listed from clothes to cell phone to book cases and cars. If you have a lot of larger items to transfer you will need a container to ship. Most of this you can find at www.bermuda.com How long are you going to be here? Great place. All the best, John "
