My husband has just accepted a position in Bermuda. We are both nationals of New Zealand and travelling on these passports. I would like to enter Bermuda to be with him in about a month and need to find information on what type of entry permits I require to be able to live there. Because he is already in Bermuda will I have problems getting through customs etc?
If possible I would like to work in Bermuda as well and realise that I will require a work permit to do so. I am experienced in the sailing and veterinary industries and have been trying to find information on these topics but would appreciate some outside help.
If anyone can help with these queriesand give us some insight about life on the islands it would be greatly appreciated.
Many thanks

Your husband should have named you as a dependant on his work permit and should have the appropriate form for you to enter Bermuda. Once you are here you can apply to Government to seek employment.

Hiya:
Good luck in job hunting ... but a very strong 'tip' ... once you get here, make sure you have a document entitled 'Permission to Seek Employment' ... if you are found to be job hunting without it, you will NOT be able to look for/accept employment for the rest of your stay and believe me, there is likely someone ready to report you.
